This skin treatment serum benefits any skin type but is most suited to normal-to-dry and aging. It absorbs so well, though, and is so nourishing that even oily-complected customers have used it and love it.
To define “serum,”, it is a mixture of oils and waters (and whatever other nutrients, essences, etc.), a mixture that has not been emulsified. A serum’s ingredients don’t hang together like a cream’s — creams are emulsified with a wax to hold oil and water together, so the oils and waters co-exist in suspension. Before applying any serum, you want to overturn or gently shake the bottle to mix the ingredients. Get all of the serum’s goodies onto your skin each time you use it.

If you do a steam facial or take a hot bath, so that your pores are quite open, this is a perfect time to do a The Perfect Rose “facial.” Rinse your face of perspiration (water should be quite warm), pat dry and apply The Perfect Rose to your face (and neck if you want). I like to stay in the comfy tub for this, so I prepare while drawing the bath by putting a clean wash cloth and my (capped) bottle of serum within reach. Just let the serum soak in. You my rinse afterwards if you like. I just pat dry when out of the tub.

I am shocked! I can hardly believe how my skin is after using The Perfect Rose and La Crème de la Crème! Yesterday my skin was so dry it was cracking around my lips and it was tight all over. Wrinkles were apparent around my eyes, mouth and forehead. My skin was uneven, sallow, lacked color and looked older than it should for my age. There were little red veins around my nose where the skin looked really thin. I used The Perfect Rose, left it on for about 15 minutes and then La Crème de la Crème. 12 hours later, the cracks had disappeared, my skin was much smoother and supple-looking, my cheeks are rosy, so this has helped my circulation, the redness around my nose is greatly dissipated and the wrinkles have actually disappeared! They didn’t just plump up temporarily. It’s been close to 24 hours now since I used the products and I kid you not, the wrinkles are GONE! I am exceedingly pleased with The Perfect Rose. This is a most incomparable product that Evan at Organic Beauty ([earlier name of Evan’s Garden] has come up with. Usage Tips

Clean first with DreamSoap and if you wish, Velvet, rinse with quite warm water to open pores, pat dry, shake the lidded bottle and pour out some serum onto your palm or fingers. Spread over face and if you want, neck, and massage gently into the skin. You can also at this time do facial exercises (Evan would be happy to point you toward her favorite isometric facial exercises – write her for that). So you can exercise while you massage or just relax while the serum soaks in and you breathe in its beautiful scent.
